Booking & changes
- Passenger information required
When making a reservation, passengers must provide:
- Last name, first name
- Gender
- Date of birth (dd.mm.yyyy)
- Nationality
- Contact phone number
- Email address (if possible)
When booking a vehicle for passenger transport, the following details must be provided:
- Vehicle registration number
- Exact length and height of the vehicle, including measurements for any additional equipment (such as ski boxes, luggage racks, trailers).
- Details of equipment installed on the roof or behind the vehicle, such as bicycles, luggage racks, etc.
- If necessary, the customer must also provide the full weight of the vehicle when booking a vehicle ticket.
- Booking deadlines
- All Routes: Tickets can be purchased up to 30 minutes before departure at Tallink sales offices, contact centers, the Tallink website, and mobile app.
- Åland departures: Tickets must be purchased up to 2 hours before the ship leaves the port of departure.
- Paldiski or Kapellskär departures: Tickets must be purchased up to 4 hours before the ships´ departure. Terminal ticket sales are unavailable.
- Dining reservations
- For MyStar and Megastar: Buffet and table reservations can be made up to 45 minutes before departure.
- For other ships (Baltic Queen, Victoria I, Silja Serenade, Silja Symphony, Baltic Princess): Dining reservations must be made up to 2 hours before departure.
- Special requests
- Children’s travel beds, pots, bed rails: Order at least 24 hours before departure.
- Cabin surprises: Must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.
- Assistance services: Request at least 48 hours before departure for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility.
- Changing and cancelling reservations
Changes to departure time, route, additional services, and passenger information can be made by the reservation’s contact person or any passenger listed in the reservation, provided identity is verified. Cancellations must go through Customer Service.
Changes that can be made online include:
- Changing the departure date and time
- Updating passenger information
- Adding or changing vehicle details
- Adding or updating restaurant services
Access changes via the link in the confirmation email, the “MY BOOKINGS” section on the front page, or through the Club One service.
- Cancellation policy
- Cancellations and changes may incur costs as per the payment, change, and cancellation conditions.
- Tallink Silja Line App
- You can manage bookings, access tickets, and stay updated through the Tallink Silja Line app.
- Special cruise conditions (SWE)
- Special cruises have unique payment conditions, which will be provided at the time of booking.
- Changes cannot be made within 14 days of departure.
- Cancellations made 28 days before departure incur no fees.
- Cancellations 27-14 days prior incur a 50% fee.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days prior will incur a 100% fee.
For group bookings, the same conditions apply. Exceptions may occur for special trips with third-party events, such as concerts or sports events.
- Cancellation due to non-payment
- Tallink Silja Line reserves the right to cancel any unpaid trips past the due date.
