Travelling with a bicycle to Turku

Travelling with a bicycle or scooter

A bicycle or scooter is considered a vehicle, and a ticket must be purchased for them just like for other vehicles. Transport fees are as follows:

Helsinki–Tallinn

5 € /one way

Other routes

10 € /one way

Bicycles and scooters embark the ship through the vehicle check-in gates, using the lane designated for cyclists. We recommend bringing a bike lock and following the crew’s instructions when moving around the ship.

If your scooter is foldable and you carry it onboard, you can join the foot passengers without paying extra for the scooter. However, if it can’t be folded and you need to ride it onto the ship, you’ll need to go through the car deck and pay a fee for the scooter.

Keep in mind when arriving at the port

1. Have your travel documents ready

Open your boarding pass on your mobile well before arriving at the port to avoid delays during boarding and potential connectivity issues in the port area.

2. Make sure to check-in on time

Ticket registration at the vehicle check-in opens 1.5 hours and closes 30 minutes before departure. When travelling from Åland, check-in closes 1.5 hours before departure, and from Paldiski or Kapellskär, check-in closes 3 hours prior to departure. Online check-in opens 24 hours prior departure time.

3. Drive to your allocated lane number

Follow the designated lanes and stay on the correct route by following the signs and screens at the port. If necessary, reposition your vehicle as directed.
