New Year’s Grande Buffet
In the Grande Buffet we serve a delicious winter buffet that lives up to its name. Enjoy delicious seafood such as mussels, prawns and crab during your winter cruise. Choose from a wide variety of hot dishes, fish and meat dishes, delicious vegan dishes and sweet desserts. Beer, red and white wine, water, soft drinks, coffee and tea are included. Children aged 6-17 eat at a reduced rate and children aged 0-5 eat free with a paying adult.
Four course dinner at Tavolàta
Silja Serenade’s chef de cuisine, Sami Leino, has created a 4-course New Year’s Eve menu with the finest drinks from our sommelier. You can choose between a fish or meat main course and, of course, a non-alcoholic beverage package if you prefer.
Menu Nordic at Bon Vivant
Indulge in the five-course Menu Nordic or Menu Nordic Vegan at Bon Vivant in Helsinki and Gourmet in Tallinn. The menu is created by Silja Serenade’s chef Sami Leino with a French fusion theme. Dishes can also be ordered à la carte. Book your table in advance!
Entertainment on board
Join the festivities on board! The cover band will get you dancing in Starlight. There will also be live music on the Promenade and a troubadour in the Sea Pub. Of course, we’ll all be counting down to midnight and maybe dancing in the New York Club & Lounge? DJs will be playing the best music well into the new year.

You are warmly welcome to enjoy a New Year’s buffet in Restaurant Aleksandra or The Chef’s Kitchen. You may choose whether you want a meat, fish or vegan main course – and whether you want a wine or non-alcoholic drink package.
New Year’s Grande Buffet
You are welcome to enjoy a New Year’s Buffet in the Grande Buffet Restaurant with magnificent sea views. Beer, wine, water, soft drinks and coffee/tea are included. There is a separate children’s table and menu. Children (0-5 years) eat free when accompanied by a paying adult.
New Year’ buffe at Grill House
On New Year’s Eve, a New Year’s buffet is served in the Grill House. Beer, wine, juice, water and soft drinks are included in the price. There is an extra table and menu for children. With advance purchase, children (0-5 years) eat for free at the buffet when accompanied by a paying adult. Table reservations must be made for all guests.
Entertainment on board
Onboard entertainment is all about the glitz and glamour of the New Year. Whether you want to dance the night away or enjoy the music in the Piano Bar, Baltic Queen offers first-class entertainment for everyone who wants to celebrate the New Year with us. The Troubadour sings sing-a-long classics in the Sea Pub.

Non-alcoholic options are of course available. Children under 12 years old receive a meal voucher and can choose one dish on board!
New Year’s Grande Buffet
Grande Buffet erbjuder massor av olika rätter och har något för alla smaker. Öl, vin, juice, läsk, kaffe och te ingår i priset. Bordsreservationer hålls i 15 minuter efter reserverad tid. Vid förköp äter barn 0–5 år gratis i sällskap av betalande vuxen. Måltidskupongen kan även användas som delbetalning i andra restauranger.
À la carte at Tavolàta or Grill House
Of course, all our à la carte restaurants are also open on New Year’s Eve. Go for pizza or tasty pasta at Tavolàta or enjoy the ship’s best steak at Grill House.

There’s plenty of New Year’s Eve entertainment on board Baltic Princess. Whether you want to dance in the New Year at midnight, enjoy atmospheric music in the Piano Bar or dance to the house band in the Starlight, there’s something for you.
New Year’s cruise with children
Want to take the whole family on a New Year’s cruise? No problem! New Year’s menus and entertainment are always tailored to suit all ages.
On Silja Line vessels, Harry the Seal and Moomin are on board and ready for fun, and on Tallink ship, Harry the Seal is joined by Lotte. The New Year’s menu is available in a child-friendly version with soft drinks, except of course for the children’s favourite Grande Buffet with its own children’s buffet.

- Do I need to pre-book meals for a New Year's cruise?
It differs per ship and route. If you choose to go on a cruise to Tallinn, a dinner reservation is mandatory, while for Helsinki and Turku you can choose whether you want to be spontaneous once on board, or pre-book at a discount.
- What kind of entertainment is available on your New Year's cruises?
Whether you want to join in the sing-a-long or enjoy lounge music to the sounds of a live pianist, our ships offer first-class entertainment for everyone who wants to celebrate the New Year with us. Cover bands heat up the stage in the Starlight and the troubadour rips through sing-a-long classics in the Sea Pub.
