Service fees at the terminal sales offices
Finland
- Booking via Email or at the Terminal: 5 €
- Paying at the Terminal for a booking made via Customer service: 8 €
- Confirmation sent by post: 3 €
Sweden
- Booking via Customer service, Email, or at the Terminal: 72 SEK
- Paying at the Terminal for a booking made via Customer Service: 72 SEK
- Confirmation sent by post: 31 SEK
Estonia
- No service fees apply for bookings via Customer service, Email, or Terminal purchases.
Latvia
- Booking via Customer service: 3 €
Other countries
- No service fees apply for bookings via Customer service or Email.
Exceptions:
- No service fee for adding services to an existing reservation or modifying a booking.
- No service fee if booking fails online.
- Check-in fees
Foot passengers are subject to a 5 € registration fee per one-way ticket at the terminal service desk. Ticket registration at the self-service kiosk is free of charge.
Fee exemptions:
- The fee does not apply to passengers in Executive Suite, Suite, and Commodore class passengers.
- MyStar and Megastar Platinum or Business class passengers on the Tallinn-Helsinki route are exempt from the check-in fee.
- Passengers aged 0–17 and those with disabilities or limited mobility are exempt.
Special conditions:
- On round-trip cruises where both directions are registered at once, the fee is 5 € per passenger.
- No fee is charged if self-service kiosks (ACIT) are unavailable, and check-in must be done at the service desk.
- Fuel & emission fees
With the inclusion of shipping in the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) from 2024, an emissions surcharge will apply to Tallink Grupp customers.
- Helsinki/Turku – Åland route: Currently, no emissions surcharge is applied.
- Children under 5 years: No fee will be charged.
- The fuel and emission surcharges are not eligible for Club One bonus points.
As the price of emissions allowances will fluctuate based on market demand, the emissions surcharge will also vary over time.
