Luggage
- General guidelines
No restrictions on quantity or size:
We don’t impose limitations on the number or weight of your luggage. Feel free to bring as many bags as you need, although we recommend carrying 1-2 pieces per person for convenience.
No extra fees:
You can travel with as many bags as required—no additional charges apply.
Self-service luggage:
All passengers are responsible for carrying their own luggage onto and off the ship. Please note, there are no luggage carts available.
Travelling with a vehicle:
If you have booked a car space, be aware that access to the car deck is not available during overnight cruises. Be sure to pack a carry-on with all essential items for your cabin. It’s advisable to keep important belongings like keys, travel documents, wallet, and medication in your carry-on, as dragging heavy suitcases to and from the car deck can be challenging.

Unattended luggage
Please ensure that your luggage is not left unattended in terminals or onboard the ship. Tallink Group is not responsible for money, valuables, or important documents. If needed, you can inquire about securing valuables at the ship’s Information Desk. Always lock your cabin door when leaving it during the cruise.
Safety measures
Passengers are not allowed to bring any dangerous or hazardous items that could compromise the safety of the ship, other passengers, or luggage. For safety reasons, Tallink Silja Line reserves the right to inspect your identity and luggage in terminals or onboard.
- Luggage storage locations on ships
Baltic Queen:
Luggage must be stored in the cabins, as there is no designated storage area.
Victoria I:
Storage is located on Deck 6, near the bow, in the conference area (starboard side). It’s free but at the passenger’s own risk. You can access it during the journey via the Information Desk.
Megastar:
Storage is available at the bow of Deck 8 for €2 per item. Luggage storage opens 30 minutes before departure and closes 30 minutes before arrival. Small lockers in the Sitting Lounge on Deck 9 are available for €2, and medium lockers for €3.
MyStar:
Luggage storage is located at the bow of Deck 8 for €2 per item. Luggage storage opens 30 minutes before departure and closes 30 minutes before arrival. Small lockers in the Sitting Lounge on Deck 9 are available for €2, and large lockers are €4.
Silja Serenade:
Luggage storage is available 24/7 on Deck 7 (Promenade), with access controlled by a doorbell next to the entrance.
Silja Symphony:
Storage is located on Deck 7 and opens 30 minutes before departure or arrival and closes 30 minutes after. During stops at Åland, it opens 15 minutes before arrival and closes upon departure. The storage remains closed throughout the voyage.
Baltic Princess:
Free storage is available at the stern on Deck 7. Opening hours are:
- 06:30–08:30
- 10:50–11:45
- 16:00–18:45
- 22:50–23:45
