Frequently asked questions
- Where can I get my FriendSHIP adventure package?
No matter where you’re cruising or which ship you’re on, you can easily add a FriendSHIP adventure package to your online ticket purchase. Receive your adventure package conveniently in your cabin upon arrival or pick it up from the ship’s information desk – the choice is yours! Collect your adventure package from the information desk if you’re travelling on the Helsinki-Tallinn route.
- What should I do if the code on my bracelet isn't working?
If you’re at a shop and the code on your bracelet is not working, please ask help from the staff. Alternatively, you can head over to the information desk for some assistance.
- What do I need to know if my child is travelling alone?
A 15–17-year-old child can travel alone at departures without overnight stays if the child has a travel permit signed by a parent or another legal representative. Children under the age of 15 may travel only with an attendant. During overnight cruises, a child under 18 must have an attendant at least 25 years old. Read more about the age regulations on board.
- What comforts can I find on board if I'm travelling with a small child?
The ships have changing mats, the possibility to heat food, and you can always ask for an extra bed for the cabin.
- Do I have access to my car during the trip?
You can buy a garage ticket on MyStar and Megastar, which allows you to access your car any time needed. Other ferries don’t have this opportunity.
- Which cabin should I book if I have at least five members in my family?
All four-person cabins are suitable for a family of five, as one child under the age of 12 can sleep in a family member’s bed. For a family of six, you should book two separate cabins or a family cabin connected to two rooms.
- Can I have an extra bed for my child in the cabin?
You can order to your cabin free of charge an extra bed for your child up to 2 years old (except for A-Standard Premium Sea view and some C-Economy Inside cabins), a night pot, and bed rails (except for all Suite, Deluxe, Commodore, and A-Standard Premium Sea view cabins and on MyStar and Megastar).
Additional equipment can be booked with the ship’s ticket or by calling +49(0)40 547 541 222 before the trip. When already on board, you can ask about the availability of the equipment at the ship’s information desk. As the availability of extra beds, night pots, and bed rails is limited, we kindly ask you to inform us about your wish in good time, but not later than 24 hours before the trip.
- Where can I store my stroller?
You can store the stroller in the cabin. Based on safety and security rules, you cannot keep the stroller in the cabin corridors. If you don’t need the stroller before your destination, you can hold it in the luggage storage for an additional fee (except on the Baltic Queen).
- Where can I get the Game Band wristband and how to use it?
Wristband is available on Silja Serenade, Silja Symphony and Baltic Princess. You can buy the PAF Game Band wristband loaded with 10 €, 15 € or 20 € play money at the information desk or at the Gifts & Toys shop. The game machine is activated when you flash the wristband at it. A reader in the game room makes it easy for you to check how much money is left on the wristband. You can also pay for your games by using a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash payment is not possible.
